Of course it is a joke, but at least we would be at the top of the table and undefeated. So after yesterday’s 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Kaunas we booked our ticket to the group stage, which is a great accomplishment already. Now we anxiously await Tuesday’s drawing in Nyon where we will find out our 4 opponents and hopefully the soccer gods will favor us, but no matter what we will tackle every opponent head on. Now we just have to find the back of the net back home in Serie A because we just haven’t lately, and let’s not even talk about the VERY disappointing draws to Chievo and Siena.

The team needs to wake up and Mazzarri needs to include Fornaroli more in this team because he creates spaces, opportunities, and he just creates, PERIOD. Creativity is what we have been lacking and thank God Claudio Bellucci is back and he looked good last night, because Cassano cannot do it all alone. Boy do we need his spark again. This weekend we face Atalanta and there is no reason why we cannot get the 3 points because we are the better team and we just need to get rid of these ghosts and start playing like a team again. I mean, we are not doing things differently from last year but we are just missing that finishing in the final third and the other thing is that we just need to tighten our team defense a little bit more. There is no need to panic because the team is there, I mean we tied Juve and Inter, probably deserving wins there. We need to get back on track now, that’s all. I have faith in my blucerchiati, now let’s go to Bergamo and beat those bums with the fake Inter jerseys!!! FORZA DORIA
